Hey everyone!  It has been over a month since I posted my first (and only) blog.  I hope your month was as good as mine was!   I had meant to be blogging weekly, but this was a very busy month for me.  I was able to go visit my family in Arizona for more than a week.  We all had a blast staying at my sister's house.  It was hard to leave but nice to be back home again, too.


I am still trying to get my name out there and sell some diaper cakes! :) I was able to make one for a friend and deliver it to her while I was visiting in Arizona. I was so glad that I was able to hand deliver the gift and see her and her sweet baby boy.   We spent the day together, in Tombstone, and I got to hold her baby quite a bit.  He is one handsome little guy!  It was hard parting ways later that night.  Hopefully, we can visit again soon.


Now that we are back home, I am ready to design some more diaper cakes.  And I have a few other ideas up my sleeve as well.  But I will wait until I have something to show you before I tell you about them. But I can tell you my good news. :)  I sold my first diaper cake over this last weekend!!  I mailed it out on Monday. Hopefully, more sales will be coming my way.  


This last week or so I have been learning how to use my Wishblade.  I purchased it used a few years ago and never even took it out of the box!  Shortly after I bought it I met my husband and we were courting and then planning a wedding and there was never enough time.  Now that I am a stay-at-home-step-mom I have a little more time on my hands.


 I ran into a few problems because my wishblade didn't want to run on Windows 7.  I found some very helpful info on the web that suggested downloading Silhouette Studio.  It works perfectly.  Although I am still learning, I have come alot farther now that I have the right tools.


I just tucked the kids into bed so now I think I am going to use this time to do something creative.  Hope you all have a wonderful evening!!
